How CMWizard Works with the California Portal

CMWizard is a ColdFusion application service that is installed directly into your development environment.  Leveraging your existing database system, CMWizard utilizes specially designed tables that create your environment for security, navigation control, design and layout standards, along with many other functions.  CMWizard incorporates all the approved California Portal templates, styles, and functionality in an easy to use system.  The creator and editor of a page simply selects on the color scheme, chooses the layout design for navigation, and inserts page content.  The rest of the work is done by CMWizard.

CMWizard also allows for image and document upload, detailed site administration, and a rapid deployment of the Amber Alert Notification.  Developers are allowed the ability to continue the use of existing tools as long as their code is stored within the CMWizard file system.

All completed work is transported to the live web server in a finished state through a built-in FTP service.  Whether you are creating static HTML pages or dynamic content, CMWizard passes the completed pages directly to your live system as you intended.
